Inspired by the books What to Eat and In Defense of Food, I realized that we are bombarded by food and nutrition choices daily. What nutrients reduce the risk of chronic disease? Which fad diet is credible (none of them)? Are carbs bad? Should I become a vegetarian? What is organic? Suddenly, food is so confusing! Let's look at how food can provide culture, community, nourishment and healthy enjoyment again.
